Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the use of the Quizizz application in science learning to enhance the interest of grade IV students at SDN 63 Ponjalae Baru, Palopo City. The research type is action research (PTK) with a quantitative approach, utilizing data collection techniques such as observation, tests, and questionnaires. The research instruments include observation sheets, tests, and questionnaires. The subjects of this study are the grade IV students at SDN 63 Ponjalae Baru. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that there is an increase in the use of the Quizizz application in science learning to boost students’ interest in learning among grade IV students at SDN 63 Ponjalae Baru, Palopo City in cycle II. The students’ interest in cycle I showed 55% completeness, with an average score of 69, which falls into the sufficient category. Meanwhile, interest in cycle II increased to 93% completeness, with an average score of 79, categorized as very high. Therefore, the success indicators have been achieved.
